Build and finish

The FRT-15L3 uses a monolithic hammer design that eliminates traditional sear engagement. Instead, the disconnector interacts with a cam surface on the hammer during cycling, forcing the trigger forward after each shot. This happens through mechanical interaction rather than springs or electronic components.

All bearing surfaces receive nickel-boron plating for reduced friction and increased wear resistance. The trigger shoe itself is machined from 4140 steel and finished with a matte black oxide coating.
