Polymer80Buy Original Forged 80% Lower – Fire/Safe Marked, Anodized Black
$59.40
This is the one that started it for a lot of builders. Our original forged 80% lower isn’t just a part; it’s the foundation. We’ve sold tens of thousands, and for good reason: it’s built right here in the U.S. from start to finish. If you want to build an AR-15 that’s truly yours, this is where you begin.
We start with a solid forging of 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum—the same spec used by the military. It’s not cast, it’s forged for strength where it counts. Then we machine it to an 80% state, apply a durable Type III Hardcoat Anodizing in matte black, and give it clean, deep “FIRE” and “SAFE” engravings. The finish is a perfect, non-reflective match for any standard upper receiver you pair it with.
The magwell is properly broached for smooth magazine changes, and every dimension is held to 100% mil-spec. That means every standard AR-15 parts kit, trigger, grip, buffer tube, and stock will drop in without a fight. This blank is compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, 300 Blackout, and 6.5 Grendel uppers, giving you the flexibility to build the rifle you need.
At Polymer80Buy, we believe in the right to build. This lower gives you that freedom. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense component made with the precision and quality that serious builders expect. You supply the tools, the time, and the vision. We supply a rock-solid, American-made foundation.
